A 50% toll discount applies to private vehicles on the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge this Saturday and Sunday for Chinese New Year.
BATU KAWAN: Motorists using the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge, Penang’s second link, will enjoy a 50% toll discount this weekend.
Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd (JKSB) announced the discount for Class 1 private vehicles in conjunction with Chinese New Year celebrations.
The reduced rate will be in effect from 12.01 am on Saturday, February 14, until 11.59 pm on Sunday, February 15.
This follows a broader Cabinet decision to grant festive toll discounts across the country.
A 50% discount applies to Class 1 vehicles at all toll plazas and to Class 2 vehicles on the Penang Bridge for the same period.
The nationwide discount excludes border toll plazas at the Sultan Iskandar Building and the Tanjung Kupang Second Link.
