BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) — Brunei has appointed Colonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman as the 8th joint forces commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, local media reported on Saturday.

According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, the takeover ceremony took place at the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Band Building in Bolkiah Garrison on Friday.
