Malaysia’s Petronas Gas reports lower earnings amid lower revenue

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) — Petronas Gas, the gas unit of Malaysia’s state-owned oil and gas firm Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), has reported lower earnings in the second quarter of 2025.

The firm said in a bourse filing on Monday that its net profit for the second quarter dipped 4.01 percent year-on-year to 450.19 million ringgit (107.19 million U.S. dollars).
