Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim vows to prioritise water and electricity access for Sabah, following a meeting with state governor Tun Musa Aman.
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has pledged that the MADANI Government will ensure Sabahans are no longer deprived of basic infrastructure.
He said the effort to provide essential services like water and electricity will continue to be a priority.
Anwar made the commitment following a courtesy call by Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman at his office.
The Prime Minister said they exchanged views on the state’s development planning, economic growth, and social well-being.
“This meeting strengthens our shared resolve to develop Sabah in a fair and comprehensive manner,” Anwar said in a Facebook post.
He added that the progress must be based on the genuine needs of the people so it is truly felt by all Sabahans.
