KUALA LUMPUR: O’Briens Irish Sandwich Café celebrated 20 years of handcrafted freshness with the grand reopening of its flagship outlet at Menara OCBC.
The celebration was graced by Her Excellency Orla Tunney, Ambassador of Ireland to Malaysia, who delivered a keynote address highlighting the enduring cultural and culinary bond between Ireland and Malaysia.
Two new brand ambassadors were also appointed; singer Winnie K and World #1 Male Tower Runner Soh Wai Ching.
“This café has been refreshed to better serve today’s needs — blending the warmth of Irish hospitality with the pace and professionalism of Kuala Lumpur’s business community. “The opening of the newly refurbished O’Briens marks a key milestone in the ongoing rejuvenation of Menara OCBC into a more vibrant, comfortable, and collaborative workplace. Customers can now look forward to a new menu item: the NisaBakri Halal Shepherd’s Pie. This signature dish, featuring tenderly cooked meat and vegetables beneath a layer of creamy mashed potatoes baked to golden perfection, pays homage to O’Briens’ Irish roots while delighting the local palate.
It stands as the ideal wholesome comfort food, especially for the forthcoming Iftar season.
