PETALING JAYA: iCents Group Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, VC Engineering Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award from a local construction company to undertake a subcontract for two data centre developments.

The subcontract, valued at RM20.26 million, involves the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, as well as maintenance of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) systems. The project is expected to be completed by Aug 20.

iCents provides design, engineering, EPCC (engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning), qualification and validation of cleanrooms, as well as the manufacture of cleanroom fixtures and related products.

iCents managing director Vincent Ong Mum Fei said the subcontract for two data centre projects reflects the group’s continued involvement in ACMV works within high-specification facilities.

“We remain focused on delivering the project in accordance with the agreed-upon scope, timeline and quality standards. This contract is expected to contribute positively to our financial performance for the financial year ending June 30, 2026, and reinforces our commitment to disciplined project execution and operational excellence,“ he said in a statement.

iCents executive director Foo Siang Leng said the subcontract strengthens the group’s project portfolio within the data centre segment, particularly in specialised ACMV works.

“Our team will work closely with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to technical specifications.“We remain committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational discipline throughout the project’s execution,“ he added.

Looking ahead, iCents remains focused on strengthening its project execution capabilities and delivering high-specification engineering and facility solutions in line with industry requirements.

With a growing presence in data centre developments and other advanced industrial segments, the group will continue to prioritise operational discipline, technical excellence and prudent resource management. Backed by its experienced engineering team and expanding order pipeline, iCents is well-positioned to support its clients’ evolving needs while generating sustainable long-term value for shareholders.
