
A family of five was found dead in a Kuantan house in a suspected murder case, with police cordoning off the scene for forensic investigation.
KUANTAN: A family of five was found dead in a house in Lorong Cherating Damai this morning in a suspected murder case.
Kuantan police chief ACP Ashari Abu Samah confirmed the incident, which is believed to have occurred around 7 am.
Forensic personnel were seen conducting investigations inside the residence as of the morning.
The bodies of all five victims had not been removed from the scene by 10.10 am.
Several individuals, including family members, gathered outside the cordoned-off house.
Pahang Police Chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman, who was present, is expected to hold a press conference on the case.
