Anwar noted that similar action had previously been taken for the armed forces, with allocations channelled last year to restore severely damaged and outdated quarters.

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the government is currently reviewing allocations to address the condition of dilapidated quarters at the Police Training Centre (Pulapol).

Responding to questions on whether special provisions would be channelled to resolve the issue, Anwar said the matter is already within the government’s plans and discussions are ongoing.

“It is indeed in the plan. We are discussing it now,” he said, adding that several housing units have already undergone repairs.

He noted that similar action had previously been taken for the armed forces, with allocations channelled last year to restore severely damaged and outdated quarters.

“Last year, we allocated RM1 million for the military to repair very dilapidated housing,” he said.
