“I bought these two for RM6 and was shocked when I was about to pay.”

A shocked customer took to Threads after she claimed she was charged RM6 for two skewers of deep fried foods which she had bought at her local Ramadan bazaar.

In her post, the woman shared that the food seller allegedly did not display any price tags and only informed the customer of the price when it was time to pay.

“To KPDN Terengganu, please monitor the prices at Kuala Ibai bazaar. There are no price tags, and only when it’s time to pay do they tell you the price.

“I bought these two for RM6 and was shocked when I was about to pay.”

Her post drew in comments from netizens, many who advised her her to lodge an official report instead of venting on social media.

“Don’t just post here — it’s useless. Go WhatsApp KPDN directly. They won’t come without a complaint,” one user wrote.

Some agreed that RM6 seemed steep for two nugget-style snacks, especially when no price tag was shown upfront.

“So expensive,” one user commented.

Others criticised the pricing transparency, with one commenter alleging that some traders might simply be reselling packaged frozen nuggets at inflated bazaar prices.
