Johor Darul Ta’zim crush Sabah 6-1 away from home, extending their perfect Super League run to 17 matches as Selangor and KL City also secure wins

SUPER League champions Johor Darul Ta’zim extended their remarkable winning streak to 17 matches with a dominant 6-1 away victory over Sabah.

The Southern Tigers took an early lead through a Bergson Da Silva penalty in the seventh minute after a foul by Sabah’s Dane Ingham.

Ajdin Mujagic doubled the advantage in the 20th minute before Oscar Aribas added a third just four minutes later.

Mujagic scored again in the 38th minute to send JDT into halftime with a commanding 4-0 lead.

The second half began with a quick double from Manuel Hidalgo in the 46th minute and Oscar Aribas in the 48th.

Sabah’s sole consolation came from Chris Marlon Ondong-Mba in the 87th minute of the match at Likas Stadium.

In other Super League action, Selangor FC secured a 1-0 home win against Kuching City FC at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium.

The only goal of that match was scored by Chrigor Moraes in the 86th minute.

Kuala Lumpur City FC also enjoyed a comfortable victory, defeating DPMM 4-0 at the Kuala Lumpur City Stadium.

Muhammad Safawi Rasid scored twice in the first half, finding the net in the ninth and 18th minutes.

Paulo Josue added a third in the 61st minute before Victor Ruiz completed the scoring in the 70th minute.
