KHARTOUM: A drone strike on a Sudanese city under paramilitary control killed 18 people on Wednesday, a medic working in the area told AFP.
The medic, who works at the city hospital in Al-Mojlad, said 25 others were wounded in the attack, which he blamed on the military.
The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which controls the area, also accused the army of conducting the drone strike on a market in Al-Mojlad.
Both sides in Sudan’s nearly three-year war have resorted to drone warfare, sparking frequent and strong condemnation from the United Nations.
