The MADANI Government provides a special RM1,000 Aidilfitri incentive to over 2,100 NADI managers and assistant managers nationwide for the first time.
KUALA LUMPUR: The government has approved a special one-off Aidilfitri incentive of RM1,000 for 2,196 managers and assistant managers of National Information Dissemination Centres (NADI).
Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said this first-ever contribution is a token of appreciation for the group’s dedicated service.
“They have never received anything for Aidilfitri or any festive occasion,” Fahmi stated at a press conference after officiating the Raya NADI Bazaar.
He emphasised his commitment to ensuring these hardworking individuals are duly recognised for their community roles.
Fahmi highlighted that NADI staff work six days a week as caretakers, mentors, and community service providers.
All 1,098 NADI centres nationwide will simultaneously host Raya Bazaars on March 14 to enliven community-level Aidilfitri celebrations.
The bazaars will also feature sales by government agencies like FAMA and the Farmers’ Organisation Board.
“This initiative provides local entrepreneurs opportunities to showcase products and boost the community’s economy ahead of Aidilfitri,” he added.
