Iran’s judiciary says it will confiscate property and impose penalties on Iranians abroad who cooperate with the US and Israel.
TEHRAN: Iranian authorities will confiscate the properties of members of the Iranian diaspora who “cooperate” with Israel and the United States.
The judiciary’s Mizan Online website said the individuals would also face other legal penalties, quoting the prosecutor general’s office.
“Iranians abroad who align, accompany and cooperate with the American-Zionist aggressor enemy will face confiscation of all their property and other legal penalties in accordance with the law,” the statement said.
Mizan cited a law adopted after a 12-day war with Israel in June, which saw the United States briefly joining with strikes.
