Israeli military begins new wave of strikes on Tehran, targeting Revolutionary Guard facilities and missile sites as conflict enters 11th day.
JERUSALEM: The Israeli military announced on Tuesday it had begun a new wave of strikes on Tehran, marking the 11th day of the ongoing Middle East conflict.
In a brief statement, the military declared, “The IDF has begun a wave of strikes against Iranian terror regime targets in Tehran.”
The army detailed that it hit a string of targets overnight in the capital, including an underground complex used by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards for missile testing located at a military university.
Israeli jets also struck infrastructure in the main headquarters for the Guards’ elite Quds Force, according to the military statement.
AFP was not able to independently verify the strikes reported by the Israeli army.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned earlier on Tuesday that Israel’s military offensive against Iran was “not done yet,” following US President Donald Trump’s comment that the conflict would be over “soon.”
