KUALA LUMPUR: Energy solutions provider T7 Global Bhd’s subsidiary Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd has received a letter of award from EnQuest Petroleum Production Malaysia Ltd for the provision of an integrated hydraulic workover unit (HWU) for the 2026 and 2027 EnQuest Well Campaign (Package B3).

The award is for the provision of HWU services and the project management team (PMT), offshore supply vessels, pumping services, and fishing and wellbore cleanup equipment and services for the 2026 and 2027 EnQuest Well Campaign (Package B3).

The contract is effective from Feb 19, 2026 for a duration of two years. The campaign involves workover and plug-and-abandonment operations across multiple wells at various offshore platforms.

T7 Global executive director Tan Kay Zhuin said that securing the award from EnQuest underscores the group’s technical capability to deliver integrated well services.

“With the combined operating capabilities of our HWU and drilling jack-up rig TSEVEN ENYA under the group’s wells and decommissioning division, we are able to execute a wide range of offshore well services, including well workovers, well interventions and plug-and-abandonment (P&A) activities,“ he said.

Tan said this significant milestone follows the recent naming ceremony of the group’s latest HWU, TSEVEN RYAN 460K, and demonstrates the market’s confidence in the company’s high-quality assets and operational expertise.

“By leveraging these complementary assets, we are well-positioned to support offshore operators with integrated and efficient well services solutions.

“In 2025, the group successfully executed 3 workover wells and 32 P&A wells, and we remain optimistic of achieving stronger results in 2026 and the years ahead as industry activity continues to grow,“ he said.

Tan said this award comes at a time when the Petronas Activity Outlook 2026–2028 indicates an increase in P&A activities to approximately 70 wells in 2026, reflecting sustained demand for well intervention and decommissioning services in Malaysian waters.

This award reinforces the group’s established track record and technical expertise in executing complex well-service campaigns in Malaysian waters, while enabling the group to actively contribute to Malaysia’s long-term decommissioning agenda.

“Looking ahead, we see a robust pipeline of potential P&A wells and remain committed to delivering safe, efficient and cost-effective solutions while creating sustainable value for our stakeholders,“ he said.
