KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 — A BMW was crushed by a fallen tree along Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur this afternoon.
Senior Fire Officer IM Jayamohan said the Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call about the incident at 1.03pm through its operations centre.
He said eight personnel from the Titiwangsa Fire and Rescue Station were deployed to the scene with a fire engine.
“Upon arrival, we found that a tree had fallen and landed on a BMW,” he said in a statement.
The car’s driver was unharmed, Jayamohan added.
Police and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers were also at the scene to assist with clearing the debris.
The operation ended at 1.56pm, and follow-up work was handed over to DBKL.
