Niki joins Honne to reinterpret 2018 hit ahead of anniversary album release
ALT-pop duo Honne have released a reimagined version of their fan-favourite track Location Unknown, collaborating with Indonesian-born singer-songwriter Niki as part of the band’s 10th anniversary celebrations.

The new version of the album revisits the track while maintaining the emotional tone that helped it resonate with listeners around the world.
Honne: 10 anniversary project announced
The single forms part of an upcoming anniversary album titled Honne — 10, which will be released on May 15.

The 12-track project revisits songs from the duo’s first two albums through stripped-back recordings that place greater focus on their songwriting and lyrics.
According to Honne, the album reflects on the music that shaped their career while marking a decade since the band first emerged.
Niki joins the anniversary version
Niki said she had been a fan of Honne since Location Unknown first appeared in 2018 and described the collaboration as a full-circle moment.
“I was personally a fan of them when Location Unknown came out in 2018. It was a song on my college playlist, and I feel transported right back to that era of my life anytime I listen to it,” she said.
Stripped-back versions and tour plans
Honne — 10 will feature acoustic reinterpretations of some of the duo’s best-known songs, presenting them in a more intimate style.
To support the project, Honne plan to take the new versions on the road in 2026 with a series of seated theatre performances around the world.
Further details on the tour and additional releases are expected to be announced in the coming months.
