MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in parts of Perak, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Johor and Sarawak until evening

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for five states until 6 pm.

The warning covers thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in several districts.

In Perak, the affected areas are Kinta, Kampar and Batang Padang.

The warning also includes Rompin in Pahang and Seremban in Negeri Sembilan.

In Johor, the districts of Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Bahru are involved.

For Sarawak, the alert covers Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Mukah (Daro and Matu), Kapit (Song), Bintulu (Tatau and Sebauh), Miri and Limbang.
