Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi calls for fostering love and forgiveness during Syawal, emphasising family bonds in his Aidilfitri message.

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has called on Muslims to strengthen bonds of kinship and extend sincere forgiveness this Aidilfitri.

In a Facebook post, he urged the community to continue fostering love during the Syawal celebrations.

He reminded people to cherish moments spent with family and loved ones.

Ahmad Zahid also prayed that the celebrations would bring blessings, peace and happiness to all Muslims.

“I would like to take this opportunity… to convey my heartfelt wishes for a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1447H to all Muslims, wherever they may be,” he said.

His message included well-wishes from his wife, family, his office staff, and all UMNO members.
