
National sprinter Muhammad Azeem Mohd Fahmi secured second place in the 100m at the Yellow Jacket Invitational in Atlanta.
ATLANTA: National sprinter Muhammad Azeem Mohd Fahmi opened his season with a silver medal in the men’s 100m at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.
The national record holder clocked 10.33 seconds in the race held in Atlanta, United States.
Home athlete Cameron Crump won the event with a time of 10.20 seconds.
Zimbabwe’s Makanakaishe Charamba finished third, just 0.01 seconds behind Azeem with a time of 10.34.
Azeem is also scheduled to compete in the 200m event at the meet.
He is further expected to join Auburn University’s 4x100m relay quartet for their race.
