The remains of Mohd Sabri Ja’afar, 42, his wife Siti Aisyah Suhaime, 32, and their five-year-old son Muhammad Yusuf Abdurrahman Mohd Sabri arrived at Surau Ar-Rahman in Bakri at about 10.45pm. Funeral prayers were performed by the congregation and family members before the burial.

The fatal accident occurred at about 4pm last Friday on Jalan Tekek-Juara. The family was believed to be travelling from the Kampung Juara waterfall towards a resort when their motorcycle skidded.
Rompin police chief Supt Sharif Shai Sharif Mondoi said the incident caused the deaths of all three at the scene. Mohd Sabri was a customer service officer at the National Water Research Institute of Malaysia.
According to the police chief, the motorcycle is believed to have gone out of control on a steep, uneven downhill stretch. It then veered off into the left shoulder of the road.
