The National Anti-Drug Agency opens special family visits at rehab centres nationwide for Aidilfitri, aiming to strengthen ties and support recovery
PUTRAJAYA: The National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) will open a special visit session for families of clients undergoing treatment at its rehabilitation centres nationwide for Aidilfitri.
The initiative aims to strengthen family ties and provide moral support to AADK clients during the festive period.
Director-general Datuk Ruslin Jusoh said the session offers a friendly meeting space and serves as a therapeutic approach to support the recovery process.
“This special visit also provides space and opportunity for families or guardians to meet the clients in a friendly manner, apart from being a therapeutic approach in supporting their recovery process,” he said.
The visit session will be open from March 30 to April 3 at most centres.
PUSPEN centres in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah will start a day earlier, operating from March 29 to April 2.
Families wishing to participate are requested to contact the Rehabilitation Officer at the respective PUSPEN.
They can make contact via phone call, SMS, WhatsApp message, letter or email.
The public can also contact the relevant PUSPEN for further information on the special visit session.
Advisory services or complaints regarding drug problems can be directed to the AADK Hotline at 1-800-22-2235 or 019-626 2233 on WhatsApp.
