A frustrated Threads user has gone viral after her post calling out people who take up space in cafés without ordering anything.

“Sorry, but why do you have no shame sitting in a café for so long without ordering even a drink?

“You’re not a customer, yet you want the benefits of being one.”

“Air-conditioning and cleanliness comes with its price, don’t be like this. At least order one drink for RM10+,” she wrote.

The post sparked a flood of reactions.

@sea.maaya agreed, noting that normal courtesy would make most people feel embarrassed taking advantage of a business this way.

@tasty.bakes.n.bites added, “There’s always that type. When staff ask what they want, they say ‘wait a moment’… and never order.”

@eykaarifin_ shared a personal twist: “Yasss!! Using free Wi-Fi, sitting for hours without ordering, and even making noise. I’ve worked at cafés for hours and lost count of how many drinks I’ve actually bought!”
