
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will meet soon to strengthen bilateral ties following a phone call discussing regional issues.
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto have agreed to hold a meeting in the near future to reinforce bilateral ties between Malaysia and Indonesia.
The Prime Minister stated that this agreement was reached during a telephone conversation between the two leaders today, where they exchanged greetings and views on various current issues affecting both nations.
“We also agreed to meet in the near future, to further reinforce the close ties between our two neighbouring nations, which have long been built on the spirit of brotherhood and strategic cooperation,” Anwar said in a Facebook post.
He added that their discussion covered issues pertinent to the well-being of their peoples and regional stability.
