Selangor couple wins RM23.5 million Toto jackpot using family IC numbers just before CNY, calling it a “big ang pow” moment.

SOMETIMES, family really does pay off—literally. 

A couple from Selangor struck gold on 7 February 2026, winning a jaw-dropping RM23.53 million Toto 4D Jackpot 1 by betting on numbers inspired by their family members’ identification card’s (IC) numbers.

The lucky duo, a 49-year-old Marketing Manager and a 66-year-old retiree, visited the STM Lottery head office to claim their record-breaking prize. 

Joy and gratitude were written all over their faces as they reflected on years of patience finally paying off.

The older winner revealed the winning numbers that transformed their lives: “6777 & 5085”, played as a standard RM2 bet, which earned them an astonishing RM23,532,445.40.

“We have been playing these numbers for many years and never imagined they would one day bring us such a life-changing win,” said the younger winner, still processing the shocking news.

The couple shared that the numbers were inspired by the last four digits of their family members’ ICs. 

The younger winner usually buys the tickets, while her boyfriend, an avid Toto player, picks and records their numbers. She typically spends RM200 to RM300 each time she visits a Toto outlet.

The couple described the win as perfectly timed, calling the windfall a “big ang pow” ahead of the Chinese New Year. 

They plan to use it to grow their business, buy a new home and secure their future with savings.
