
KUCHING, Oct 29 — A woman’s body was found inside a car at the parking lot of a mall at Jalan Song here today.
Sources said the discovery was made after members of the public detected a foul smell coming from a Nissan Grand Livina parked at the premises.
Police have not issued an official statement on the discovery at press time.
The area has been sealed off for investigation and forensic personnel were seen at the scene gathering evidence.
According to sources, the woman is the same person reported missing since last Saturday.
Earlier today, Kuching police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu issued a statement seeking public information on 24-year-old Marianna Liew Ai Jia, who was last seen leaving her home on October 25 in a Nissan Grand Livina. — The Borneo Post
