Da Ma Cai distributes RM2 million to 142 charities in its 33rd annual community aid programme across Malaysia.

DA MA CAI has distributed a total of RM2 million to 142 charitable organisations across Malaysia under its Annual Community Aid Charity Programme — its largest outreach to date. Now in its 33rd year, the programme underscores the company’s enduring commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities nationwide.

This year’s total contribution comprises RM1.3 million under the core programme and an additional RM700,000 raised through the third consecutive year of the dmcGO CNY “Give Luck Get Luck” Charity GO Packages initiative. Strong public participation during the festive campaign enabled the programme to expand its reach from 115 organisations in 2025 to 142 in 2026.

“Sustainable impact is achieved through collective participation and strong governance – when corporations, customers and charitable organisations work together.” — Datuk Seri Tan Kong Han, Managing Director, Da Ma Cai

A Social Business Transformed

Da Ma Cai is a brand of Pan Malaysian Pools Sdn Bhd (PMP), Malaysia’s authorised numbers forecast operator. Following the acquisition of PMP by Jana Pendidikan Malaysia Sdn Bhd (JPM), all of PMP’s net dividends received by JPM are donated to The Community Chest — effectively transforming Da Ma Cai from a conventional for-profit entity into a social business. Proceeds channel long-term donations to support education, school facilities upgrades, and social welfare programmes nationwide.

Established in 1994, the Annual Community Aid Charity Programme has grown steadily over three decades, supporting welfare homes and non-profit organisations in upgrading facilities, enhancing care standards, and improving the wellbeing of those who need it most.
