Dadi Cinema at Pavilion KL shuts from 5 March 2026, with TGV Cinemas set to take over operations in May

PETALING JAYA: Dadi Cinema is bidding farewell to its customers, as it ceases operations at Pavilion KL starting tomorrow.

TGV Cinemas is set to take over the cinema operations at the popular shopping destination.

On its Facebook page, Dadi Cinema announced, “Our last day of operation will be 4th March 2026, and we will officially close our doors starting 5th March 2026.”

The China-based company thanked its customers for years of support, celebrating the shared joy of cinema.

“For all these years, it has been our greatest joy to welcome you – to laugh together, cry together, and share countless unforgettable moments on the big screen. Your support, smiles, and love for movies have meant more to us than words can express.

“Thank you for being part of our story. Though this chapter comes to an end, the memories will forever remain in our hearts,” the announcement read.

However, Dadi Cinema clarified that its Kedah outlet at Central Square will continue operating as usual.

Following the closure, Pavilion KL confirmed that TGV Cinemas will commence operations at the location this May.

“This transition reflects our ongoing dedication to partnering with trusted brands that enhance the Pavilion KL experience,” the statement said.
