
Russian and Ukrainian drone attacks claim four lives in eastern Ukraine, with casualties reported on both sides of the frontline.
DNIPROPETROVSK: Russian and Ukrainian drone strikes have killed four people in eastern Ukraine.
Officials from both sides confirmed the fatalities on Wednesday.
Two civilians died in a Russian drone strike on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region early that day.
The attack hit the Synelnykivsky district, according to Mykola Lukashuk, head of the regional administration.
“A 68-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were killed,” Lukashuk said on Telegram.
Separately, two more people were killed after a Ukrainian drone strike late on Tuesday.
This attack occurred in the Lugansk region, which is almost entirely controlled by Russian forces.
The local government stated the strike hit a minibus in Novokrassnyanka.
“A young man and a 20-year-old woman were killed in a drone attack,” the authorities said on Telegram.
They attributed the attack to Ukrainian forces.
