From Ashes to New confront toxic love on new single
US rockers From Ashes to New have dropped Die For You, the latest single from its upcoming album Reflections, capturing the exhaustion of giving endlessly to someone who keeps asking for more and mistaking survival for love.
According to founder and rap vocalist Matt Brandyberry, the song reflects the fallout of a relationship built on control, desire and guilt.

“At its core, the song is about the moment clarity breaks through, forcing you to question how much of yourself you are willing to lose,” he said.
For From Ashes to New lead vocalist Danny Case, Die For You is about “bending over backwards, doing everything you possibly can to please someone in a relationship and it just never ends up being enough”.
Heavy riffs, heavier emotion
The weight of the subject matter is matched by the heft of the layered vocals and accompanying razor-sharp riffs as well as moody melodies.
Die For You is the fourth single off Reflections, and previous single Drag Me is on the Top 20 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart.
The upcoming album will be the band’s follow-up to 2023’s Blackout, which achieved the number one spot on several iTunes and Spotify Rock and Metal charts across the globe.
Despite Blackout being a success for the band, From Ashes to New hit a crossroad after completing 16 songs for what was supposed to be its fifth studio album, leading to the demo sessions being completely scrapped.
