Malaysian rider Hakim Danish fought from 25th to 13th at the US Grand Prix, earning three crucial championship points in Moto3.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Moto3 rider Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli delivered a determined performance at the United States Grand Prix.

Starting from 25th on the grid, the 18-year-old charged through the field to finish 13th and secure three valuable championship points.

The race in Austin, Texas was won by Italian rider Guido Pini of Leopard Racing.

Championship leader Maximo Quiles (CFMOTO Valresa Aspar Team) finished second, with Alvaro Carpe (Red Bull KTM Ajo) completing the podium.

The result provided a crucial boost for the AEON Credit MT Helmets MSi rider in the overall standings.

Hakim Danish now sits 14th in the championship with nine points after three rounds.

His next race will be at the Spanish Grand Prix on April 24.
