PUTRAJAYA: The Immigration Department has confirmed that three of the late former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin’s children, who are wanted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), are currently overseas.
Immigration director-general Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said department records show the three individuals left Malaysia between late January and early February.
He stated that another one of the four named children has no record of leaving the country.
The MACC announced yesterday it was tracking down four of Daim’s children to assist in an investigation.
The anti-graft body named them as Asnida Abdul Daim, Md Wira Dani Abdul Daim, Muhammed Amir Zainuddin Daim and Muhammed Amin Zainuddin Daim.
It urged members of the public with information on their whereabouts to come forward.
