TEHRAN: The Iranian Red Crescent has reported that 9,669 civilian units have been damaged in what it describes as United States and Israeli attacks on the country.
In a detailed statement, the organisation specified that the tally includes 7,943 residential units and 1,617 commercial buildings.
The attacks also damaged 32 medical and treatment centres along with 65 schools and educational institutions.
Thirteen Red Crescent centres, 15 operational vehicles, and 13 ambulances belonging to the organisation and emergency response teams were also damaged.
The organisation further stated that 11 of its medical personnel were killed and 33 others injured in the attacks.
More than 1,200 people, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and top military officials, have reportedly been killed in the attacks on Iran since Feb 28.
Tehran retaliated by launching drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf nations that host US military assets.
