Prime Minister Netanyahu pledges to continue strikes on Iran with full force, citing near-total control of Tehran’s airspace after a week of intense bombardmen
JERUSALEM: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Israel will continue its war against Iran “with all our force”.
In a televised address, he stated that coordinated strikes with the United States have given them near-total control of the skies over Tehran.
“We have a systematic plan to eradicate the Iranian regime and achieve many other objectives,” Netanyahu said.
The war began with strikes on Tehran last Saturday that killed Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Netanyahu thanked Israeli citizens for their support to continue until victory.
“I can assure you that we will continue with all our force,” he said.
The Israeli leader credited the bombing campaign by Israeli and American pilots for the airspace dominance.
Speaking to the Iranian people, he said the “moment of truth” was coming.
He claimed Israel seeks to help liberate them from the “yoke of tyranny”.
Netanyahu asserted that Israel had managed to “transform the Middle East”.
He said the balance of power in the region has shifted.
Israel’s military reported carrying out around 3,400 strikes on Iran in the war’s first week.
Roughly 7,500 munitions were dropped during these operations.
