
Johor Darul Ta’zim seal a record 12th consecutive Malaysia Super League championship with a 3-0 win over DPMM FC, maintaining a perfect season
JOJOR Darul Ta’zim have secured an unprecedented 12th consecutive Malaysia Super League title.
The Southern Tigers clinched the championship with five matches to spare following a 3-0 victory over DPMM FC at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
JDT have maintained a perfect record this season, winning all 19 of their matches so far without dropping a single point.
Their latest triumph was sealed with goals from Ager Aketxe, Oscar Arribas and Marcos Guilherme.
Aketxe opened the scoring in the 33rd minute with a free-kick that deflected off the post.
DPMM threatened an equaliser in the second half but saw a goal from Muhammad Hakeme Yazid Said ruled offside.
Arribas doubled JDT’s lead with a close-range finish in the 74th minute.
Guilherme then put the result beyond doubt by adding a third goal to secure the historic title.
The victory extends JDT’s remarkable dominance over Malaysian football, cementing their status as the nation’s premier club.
Selangor FC retakes second with 3–2 win over KL City
Meanwhile, Selangor FC clawed their way back to second in the Super League with a 3-2 victory over Kuala Lumpur City FC last night at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium in Cheras.
Captain Mohamad Faisal Abdul Halim put Selangor ahead in the 11th minute. The Red Giants then scored twice after the break through Diarra Mamadou and Hugo Boumous.

Mamadou found the net in the 63rd minute before Boumous added a third in the 70th. This gave the visitors a commanding 3-0 lead.
KL City mounted a spirited late comeback with two quick goals. Madger Gomes scored in the 72nd minute to reduce the deficit.
Muhammad Safawi Rasid then netted in the 87th minute to set up a tense finale. The home side could not find an equaliser before the final whistle.
The win lifts Selangor to second place with 42 points from 20 matches. Kuching City FC sits third with 40 points but has a game in hand.
In another match, Melaka FC defeated Kelantan The Real Warriors FC 2-1. Che Rashid Che Halim was the hero with a 66th-minute winner at Hang Jebat Stadium.
The goal broke a 1-1 stalemate after an earlier exchange. TRW’s Enzo Nicolas Jacques Celestine opened the scoring in the 12th minute.
Ahmed Ayman Shamsaldin Abdalazem equalised for Melaka just before half-time. Che Rashid’s decisive strike secured all three points for the home side.
