“The locations that we will focus on include the country’s main border routes, namely the Sultan Iskandar Building and the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex,” he said at a media conference today.
The operation will focus on six main road violations, including driving on the emergency lane, speeding and dangerous overtaking. Police expect a 30% to 40% increase in vehicles entering the city due to the school and festive holidays.
Ab Rahaman advised those leaving their homes during the festive period to notify police via the Volunteer Smartphone Patrol application or contact the nearest police station.
