Khairul Aming skips his recipe video for the day, jokingly “cancelling class” as fans flood the comments with exam jokes

Hey, wassup, guys? “Cikgu” Khairul Aming has cancelled his class today.

The social media sensation announced on his Threads account that there will be no recipe video uploaded today, meaning the “class” is cancelled.

“Please take this rare and precious moment of freedom to catch up on your readings, finish any pending assignments, or simply enjoy the unexpected break.

“Use it wisely. Opportunities like this don’t come often. See you tomorrow, thanks,” he wrote.

While some followers were delighted by the announcement, others took the joke even further in the comment section.

Naim Rosli left an email-style comment from the “Netizens Exam Department”, reminding the “students” to do their revision before entering the final week, as Ramadan is set to end next week.

“We would also like to announce that the examination week will begin on the night before 1 Syawal,” he wrote, adding that the examiners would be parents, makcik and pakcik bawang, as well as fellow netizens.

Another user, @farisyaalaia_, jokingly asked whether Cikgu KA would hold a replacement class for today.

“Could you please confirm earlier, teacher? I’m planning to take leave for Raya and have already bought my bus ticket,” she quipped.

Meanwhile, Fazrina shared a picture of a steamed chocolate moist cake — a recipe Khairul Aming posted in 2023, saying she had just completed her “pending assignment”, adding that it is better late than never.

One user also joked that the day would feel “empty” without hearing his voice.

“Sir, this message just turned an ordinary day into a happy one for all of us. Thank you for the unexpected break. We promise to use this ‘rare and precious moment of freedom’ wisely… or at least try our best. See you tomorrow!” wrote Naim Rehman.
