LONDON: Police have arrested King Charles’ younger brother, Prince Andrew, on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
The BBC reported the arrest on Thursday, linking it to the Duke of York’s connections with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Earlier on Thursday, six unmarked police cars and around eight plain-clothed officers arrived at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate in eastern England. Thames Valley Police said earlier this month that officers were considering allegations Mountbatten-Windsor had passed confidential government documents to Epstein.
This followed the recent release of files by the US government. The Duke of York has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
He has said he regrets their friendship but has not responded to requests for comment since the latest document release. Thames Valley Police did not have an immediate comment on the reported arrest.
