ACP Lim Jit Huey takes over as South Klang district police chief, succeeding the retiring ACP Ramli Kasa in a ceremony witnessed by Selangor police chief.
KLANG: Deputy head of secretariat (Technology) at the Logistics and Technology Department, ACP Lim Jit Huey, is the new South Klang district police chief.
His appointment, effective today, sees him succeed ACP Ramli Kasa who retires upon reaching the mandatory age.
The rank pinning and handover ceremony was held at the South Klang District Police Headquarters. Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar witnessed the proceedings.
Shazeli expressed confidence in Lim’s ability to lead the district headquarters. He reminded all personnel to uphold the public’s hope for peace and security.
“Every action we take reflects the honour of the force, and every decision we make reflects the integrity that forms the foundation of public trust,” he said.
The 48-year-old Lim stated he would first assess the situation before implementing any changes. He acknowledged South Klang as a socially and economically complex district with frequent criminal activity in the spotlight.
“I may also implement some new technology solutions to make operations smoother, based on my experience in my previous department,” he added.
