Malaysia strongly condemns Israel’s illegal land registration in the West Bank, calling it a brazen annexation attempt that violates international law and undermines peace.
PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli regime’s illegal registration of lands in the Occupied West Bank as state land.
The Foreign Ministry said the move is a brazen attempt to legitimise illegal settlement expansion under Israeli law.
“This action seizes Palestinian land, advances annexation, and flagrantly violates international law,” Wisma Putra said in a statement.

It specifically cited breaches of the Fourth Geneva Convention and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334.
The ministry stated the action entrenches occupation and confiscates Palestinian land.
It asserted these measures are unlawful and undermine prospects for a just two-state solution.
Malaysia called on the international community to firmly reject these illegal measures.
It urged global actors to hold Israel accountable and ensure Palestinian rights are respected.
The statement highlighted the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to their land.
Malaysia reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people.
It supports their legitimate struggle for freedom, justice, and statehood based on pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as the capital.
