SEREMBAN, Oct 9 — Several stretches of the Kajang–Seremban Highway (Lekas) will be temporarily closed from the Kajang Selatan interchange to the Paroi interchange from 5pm on Saturday to 4am on Sunday to make way for the 10th edition of the RHB Lekas Highway Ride 2025 cycling race.

Negeri Sembilan Police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said the closure was necessary to ensure the safety of participants taking part in various cycling categories that evening, covering distances of 105 kilometres (km), 78km, 17km and 12km.

He said the affected routes included Semenyih, Beranang, Pajam, Nilai, Mantin, Lenggeng, Setul Toll, Seremban/Temiang, Ampangan Toll, and Jelebu/Seremban, and the U-turn point at KM41.8, with all race categories to start and finish at the Kajang Selatan Toll Plaza.

He advised all road users to plan their journeys, use alternative routes, and cooperate with police officers on duty during the event. — Bernama
