Jempol police appeal for information on Norizan Yahya, 50, last seen in Seremban after losing contact with her family.

SEREMBAN: Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 50-year-old woman reported missing after her family lost contact with her.

Jempol district police chief Supt Norhisham Mustapar said a report was lodged by the woman’s sister at 8.46 am after she was last seen at 7.30 am the previous day.

“The last time she contacted her family was at 4.44 pm stating she was in Seremban looking for work and they were unable to contact her after that,” he said in a statement.

Norizan Yahya, whose last known address is in Kampung Indah, Bahau, is approximately 150 centimetres tall and weighs 70 kilogrammes.

She was last seen wearing a purple blouse, black pants, a light green tudung and carrying a brown ‘Eco Shop’ bag.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bahau police station at 06-4541222 or Insp Annas Fikri Othman at 013-6219196.
