Authorities in Bentong are searching for a 14-year-old girl last seen leaving for a Ramadan bazaar on Wednesday evening.

BENTONG: Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 14-year-old girl reported missing from Taman Chegar Medang.

A report was lodged by the teenager’s mother after she failed to return home from a local Ramadan bazaar.

Bentong Police chief Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said the girl, Puteri Nor Aishah Ahmad Sulaiman, was last seen by her mother leaving their home at approximately 6.45 pm on March 4.

She is described as being about 157 centimetres tall and weighing around 45 kilogrammes.

Zaiham said she was last seen wearing a short-sleeved blouse and black jeans.

“Members of the public with information about the teenager are urged to come forward to the nearest police station,” he said in a statement.

He also provided a direct contact number for the Bentong Police headquarters district control centre at 09-2231999.
