NATIONAL squash player Rachel Arnold has stormed into the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Gaynor Cup 2026.
The world number 24 secured her place with a commanding 11-3, 11-7, 11-4 victory over Egypt’s Menna Hamid in Cincinnati, United States.
Arnold, who received a first-round bye, needed just 22 minutes to dispatch her opponent.
She now faces a daunting last-eight clash against the tournament’s top seed, England’s Georgina Kennedy.
Kennedy earlier ended Malaysian interest by defeating Noor Ainaa Amani Ampandi 11-8, 11-8, 11-4.
The Thai SEA Games 2025 gold medallist was beaten in 24 minutes.
The Cincinnati Gaynor Cup is a Professional Squash Association World Tour Silver-level event.
It offers a total prize purse of USD 86,250, approximately RM 337,582.
