KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 — Rapid KL will extend its train services tonight to accommodate the thousands of people expected to gather at Axiata Arena for the “Himpunan Solidariti Bersama Gaza” rally.
The Bukit Jalil LRT station, which serves the venue, will remain open until 12.30am, and additional trains will be deployed to manage the large number of passengers.
To facilitate onward journeys, several key interchange stations across the Kelana Jaya, Ampang/Sri Petaling, Monorail, Kajang, and Putrajaya lines will also remain open later than usual.
While other stations will close at their normal times, passengers will still be able to disembark at those stops after the event.
Commuters are advised to use their Touch ‘n Go cards or purchase return tokens in advance to avoid queues at the stations.
Passengers can follow Rapid KL’s social media accounts or use the PULSE app for live service updates.

The rally tonight aims to demonstrate Malaysians’ solidarity with the Palestinian struggle.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is scheduled to attend, yesterday exhorted Malaysians to take part both to support Palestine and celebrate activists who participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) mission to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza.
“Let us come together in one voice, shoulder to shoulder, to demand freedom, dignity, and sovereignty for Palestine,” he said.
