“RM16 for nasi lemak with bloody fried chicken, huh.”
A customer received a bloody fright after she was served undercooked fried chicken with her nasi lemak — despite paying RM16 for the meal.
In a Threads post, @sofea.za alleged that the chicken was “bloody” inside while appearing burnt on the outside. She also claimed the price was slightly higher as she had requested extra sambal.
“RM16 for nasi lemak with bloody fried chicken, huh.
“You’re already selling it expensive. The chicken isn’t cooked, burnt on the outside.”
She shared in her post that she had purchased the food from the Alor Gajah bazaar Ramadan.
Photos accompanying the post appeared to show pinkish meat near the bone area of the fried chicken.
The incident quickly drew reactions from netizens, with some responding sarcastically.
“Itu medium rare sis,” one user joked, comparing the chicken to steak doneness levels.
Another commented, “Even Gordon Ramsay would get angry if he found rare chicken.”
