
Five schools in Teluk Intan will receive RM50,000 each for infrastructure upgrades to improve the learning environment for students and teachers.
IPOH: A total of RM250,000 has been allocated to upgrade and repair infrastructure at five schools in the Teluk Intan parliamentary constituency.
Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming announced the special allocation for Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Intan, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seri Setia, SJKC San Min 1, SJKC San Min 2, and SJKC Batu Dua Belas.
The Teluk Intan MP confirmed that each school would receive RM50,000 under the initiative, which is expected to benefit hundreds of students and teachers.
“The MADANI government is always committed to ensuring that no school is left out of receiving proper basic facilities,” Nga said in a statement.
He added that the allocation was intended to boost student motivation by providing a better learning environment.
Nga, together with Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh, visited SK Seri Intan to inspect the facilities and present the allocation.
The programme was also attended by Pasir Bedamar assemblyman Woo Kah Leong, Teluk Intan Municipal Council members, and representatives from the school management boards.
