Moscow slams attack on Iran’s Bushehr nuclear facility, which hosts Russian staff, and demands immediate halt to strikes on atomic sites.

MOSCOW: RUSSIA has condemned a US-Israeli strike on an Iranian nuclear plant as an “evil” act.

The attack targeted the Bushehr nuclear power plant, which hosts Russian personnel.

Foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated the strike resulted in loss of life. “We strongly condemn this evil deed, which resulted in loss of life,” she said.

Zakharova demanded an immediate end to attacks on atomic facilities. “Strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, including the Bushehr nuclear power plant, must cease immediately,” she added.
