Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs says it has no substantiated information on reports that two Singaporeans fought with the Israel Defence Forces in Gaza.

SINGAPORE: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has stated it possesses no verified information regarding allegations that two Singaporeans fought as part of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).

The ministry was responding to queries from *The Straits Times* about a report published by the British outlet Declassified UK on Feb 11.

That report claimed two Singapore passport holders were among individuals identified as having fought for the IDF in Gaza. One was reportedly a Singapore citizen who also holds Israeli citizenship, while the other was said to possess multiple citizenships.

“MHA does not have any substantiated information at this point that any Singaporean is/was fighting as part of the IDF,” the ministry said.

The Declassified UK report did not specify the alleged roles or duration of involvement of the Singapore citizens.
