A TikTok clip of a boy applying ice pack to a girl’s thighs sparks concern over supervision, student conduct, and school accountability.

A short video circulating online is causing a storm over questionable underage behaviour in schools.

In the clip taken from TikTok, a boy in school sports gear can be seen applying ice pack to a girl’s thighs as she cries to what some see as a “sweet” moment.

Teachers were quick to call it out.

@stnrhawa wrote, “As a teacher, I have to ask. Wasn’t there any teacher supervising behaviour like this, to prevent boys and girls from coming into contact? Surely there’s a student welfare officer or a teacher in charge of welfare?

“Even when I teach at a Catholic-missionary school, I never allow my male students to touch female students.

If this continues, it could end up in the news with the boy being arrested for underage sexual offences, even if it was “consensual.”

Another teacher, @suhailyazreen agreed, “As a Malay PE teacher at an international school, I also never allow my students to touch each other, even if they are Christian, Buddhist, or of other faiths. This isn’t just about religion—it’s about dignity.

Many users, including @wany_fithry, were bewildered by the lack of supervision, saying they wouldn’t tolerate this kind of “sweetness,” while @stnrhawa questioned whether teachers were monitoring behaviour like this and if a student welfare officer was responsible.

@matomatoiblis said teachers these days hold back from correcting students, scared of getting sued, leaving the school to take the blame.

Others focused on the behaviour itself. “Touching her legs like that. Doesn’t she have other female friends?” asked @jalilah.jpls.

@adwa_nisaaa added that kids these days like to show off and record themselves.

Even fellow teachers were surprised. @missadda joked that maybe the boy was part of student welfare, while @airmien, a student welfare coach, clarified that schools never teach anything like this.

Some noted peer dynamics. @maizamr observed that the girls seemed willing to go along with the boys, while @irfncrwz._ quipped that teachers seemed too busy making TikToks.

The clip has called for a bigger conversation: how should schools, parents, and society respond when minor acts of intimacy meet social media exposure? And when does “innocent” cross a line?
